Kendra Scott
Graphic Design Internship

Overview

From June to August 2024, I interned with the Creative Services team at Kendra Scott, gaining valuable hands-on experience in both print and digital design. My projects spanned a wide array of assets, including social media content, store signage, email marketing materials, wholesale graphics, and seasonal campaign concepts. This role allowed me to refine my technical skills, explore creative direction, and collaborate with a dynamic and supportive team.

Yellow Rose Barricade

One of the most exciting projects I worked on was designing a large barricade for the first Yellow Rose store opening on South Congress, Kendra Scott’s western-inspired brand. I collaborated closely with the Creative Director to select imagery, experiment with the new branding, and create multiple design mockups  for approval. This project taught me valuable skills in collaborating with printers and overseeing installation logistics while considering environmental factors for the large-scale design.

GEMs Campus Ambassadors

Kendra Scott hosted their top-performing GEMs Campus Ambassadors in Austin for an influencer trip. I designed decor and swag for the Airbnb, including stickers and pillowcase signage that fit the collegiate theme.

Wholesale Materials

I was responsible for editing and updating linelists for wholesalers, which helped me refine my skills in designing long-form projects and staying organized throughout the process. Additionally, I created digital designs for launch announcements to communicate new releases and updates to Kendra Scott wholesalers.

Philanthropy

One of my favorite projects at Kendra Scott was working on a philanthropy initiative with First Book, where they donated 5,000 multicultural and bilingual books to students at Best Elementary School. I designed supporting signage and materials for the event.
